Deepika is Said to have Secured Jobs in ANIIMS and Education Dept. on the Basis of Forged and Fake Certificates
Port Blair, May 2: CCS Police Station arrested Deepika Kishan who had secured Government jobs in ANIIMS and Education Department on the basis of forged and fake certificates.
Deepika Kishan had applied for the post of Artist in ANIIMS in 2015 and submitted forged and fake certificates of the minimum education requirements prescribed for the job. She was selected for the job and served the department till 2018 when she resigned the job when she was asked to submit the originals of the minimum education qualifications.
In 2020, Deepika Kishan applied for and joined the post of Instructor in Education department. She served in the Department for three months and resigned when asked to submit original certificates.
A reference was received from Human Right Commission about genuineness of her educational certificates. Also there was a specific complaint to Police about her documents being false and forged. During enquiry verifications from the authorities was made. On collection of evidence, a case of cheating and forgery was registered against Deepika Kishan and she was arrested on 28th April, 2021. Investigations in the matter are continued by Inspr. Hemawathi.
