Port Blair, June 14: “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” (India @ 75) is a series of events being organised by the Govt. of India to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of India’s Independence. Embarking on the path of celebration of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”, Kala Kendra- A&N Islands for Promotion of Art & Culture, Directorate of Art & Culture has been organising various events. However, in view of Covid guidelines, many events were organized in virtual mode.
The musical events were organised virtually in the month of May & June 2021 by involving Local Cultural Groups empanelled with Kala Kendra i.e M/s Melody Stars, M/s Friends Cultural Group and M/s M.J Music Academy. The programme organized by these organisations can be viewed on the Facebook page of Kala Kendra.
In the series, Kala Kendra is organising a musical tribute to our freedom fighters & Martyrs on 15th June 2021 by Cultural Organisation M/s A.S Music & Dance which will also be uploaded on the Facebook page of Kala kendra.
