Port Blair, June 27: The North & Middle Andaman District Administration in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic has taken various actions to strengthen the healthcare facilities in order to provide better care to the patients and also ensure the welfare of the children who have lost their parents due to COVID-19.

The Hindu Rashtra Shakti team of North & Middle Andaman handed over 04 ration kits to Dr. Angel Bhati Chauhan, Deputy Commissioner (North & Middle Andaman). The Deputy Commissioner (North & Middle Andaman) along with HRS team distributed the ration kits to the needy children who have lost either or both of their parents due to COVID-19 or otherwise at Mayabunder.

Dr. Angel Bhati Chauhan lauded the HRS team Dr. P.K.Mandal, State General S Secretary, Shri Dilip Kumar Das, District President, Shri N.C. Mazumder, Shri Jeet Halder and the whole team for this great humanitarian work.

The District Administration (N& M Andaman) ensures all possible support to the needy children who are badly affected during the pandemic by losing the breadwinner of their family.

The DC (N&M Andaman) has urged the Civil Society Organisations to come forward for the help of such children  and sought the cooperation of public in fighting the pandemic.
