Port Blair, Feb 2: As part of nationwide celebration of commemoration of 125th Birth Anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, the Department of Art & Culture, A&N Administration and Kala Kendra jointly organized two digital competitions i.e. Painting and Instagram Reel Making on the theme Netaji Subash Chandra Bose/INA/Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav/Patriotic.
58 entries in Painting and 21 entries in Instagram Reel Making were received. Five entries in each category were shortlisted by a panel of experts and the same was posted in the Facebook & Instagram account of Department of Art & Culture. The best 3 entries in each category were decided by the total number of likes against each entry till 5.00 pm on 24.01.2022.
Sujeet Kumar, K. Poornima and Yogesh secured First, Second and Third position respectively in painting competition whereas B.Vidyasri, Affaan Farrok and A.Rakshata secured First, Second and Third position in Instagram Reel Making competition. The winners will be awarded with cash prizes of Rs.5,000/-, Rs.3,000/- and Rs. 2,000/- respectively in each category.
