Port Blair, Feb 8: The stakeholders of tourism industry of A & N Islands have sincerely thanked Shri G. Kishan Reddy, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Culture & Tourism, GoI, Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of A & N Islands and the Chief Secretary, A & N Administration for re-opening the tourist places and allowing the tourism activities to resume in these islands by lifting all the restrictions.
All stakeholders Andaman Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Grain Dealers Association, Hoteliers Association A&N Islands, Andaman Association of Tour Operators, Ship Owners Association, Youth Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Boat Owners Association, Andaman Bar Owner Association, FOATO and Laghu Udyog Bharati who had met Shri Satya Kumar, National Secretary of the Bharatiya Janta Party on 6th Feb 2022 and apprised him of the difficulties faced by the stakeholders due to the lockdown and closure of tourist places have also thanked the A & N Administration for reopening the tourist places and to allow tourism activities to resume in these islands.
This will help all the tourism stakeholders who are directly or indirectly connected with tourism to earn their livelihood, said Shri Surendra Prahladka, President, Andaman Chamber of Commerce & Industry in a communication to the press.
