Port Blair, Feb 10: In an initiative to strengthen and have a better hold in the grass root level across the Territory of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, a mass membership drive was initiated by the Andaman Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee on 08th February 2022. The membership drive was organised under the guidance of Shri. Sanjib Kumar Mandal (State Incharge, Organizational Election, A&N Islands) at block levels viz. Bambooflat, Tushnabad and Wimberlygunj. The rest of the blocks will be covered in the coming days in the presence of the Smti. Shanimol Usman, Returning Officer (Incharge A&N Islands), and Shri. Addressing the gathering of the newly joined members, Smti. Shanimol Usman said that the Congress Party aims at ensuring unity, social harmony and equality and urged people to join hands of Congress for ending the current era where ‘Fascist forces’ are bend upon destroying the constitutional values.
