Port Blair, Feb 23: Three days Shri Mahashivratri celebration will be held at Shri Sarweshwar Mahadev temple, Chinmaya Mission Port Blair from February 27 to March 1, 2022. On Sunday 27th February Maha Mrutunjaya Homam will be conducted from 8 am to 10 am followed by Shiv Katha. On February 28, Rudrabhishekam and Satsang will be held from 5.30 Pm on onwards.
On March 1, the auspicious day of Mahashivaratri will begin with Ganapati Homam at 6 am followed by Abhishekam and Pooja. In the evening from 5.30 pm to 7.30 Shri Shiv Sahasranama Archana (chanting of one thousand name of Lord of Shiva) will be held, which will be followed by Satsang, Bhajan etc. till Mid-night 12.
Mission has requested all the devotees to follow the CORONA guidelines while participating in the programmes.
