Port Blair, March 2: Highlighting a crucial issue of Shaheed Dweep, the Member of Parliament Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma today informed the Hon’ble Lt. Governor, Andaman & Nicobar Islands that there are nearly 50 unemployed youths in the Island who are willing to undergo the Tourist Guide Training Program.

Due to lack of resources and financial support they are unable to come to Port Blair to attend and complete the course. According to them most of the youths can’t afford the lodging and boarding costs at Port Blair.

Considering the difficulties being faced by these youths and also looking at the convenience of the youths of the Shaheed Dweep Island, the Member of Parliament today requested the Lt. Such training will also bring more professionalism in the Tourism sector of Shaheed Dweep, added the MP.
