Port Blair, March 9: The MPL 35th National Junior Girls Chess Championship 2022 began today the 9th March 2022 at RPS International School, Sector-50 Gurugram, Haryana. The event is being organised by All India Chess Federation (AICF) under the aegis of Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India.
More than 100 players across India participating in this prestigious event in which two girl players from Andaman & Nicobar Islands are taking part viz. Jasleen Kaur Bohra and Tarandeep Kaur Bohra.
The Championship will be held for five days from 9th to 13th March 2022 over 9 rounds in classical mode with 90 minutes plus 30 seconds increment per move per player. The Top twenty players will be awarded with cash prize.
