Port Blair, March 13: The Rotary Club of Port Blair organised a commemorative program to mark International Women's Day 2022 on 12th March 2022 at TSG Emerald View, Port Blair.
On the occasion the Rotary Club felicitated Dr Rashida Iqbal, Asst Director, Art & Culture, Dr Ritika Gupta and Ms Tanaz Noble as Women Achievers in their fields.
A lively Panel Discussion was followed on the "Eradication of Gender Bias: The Journey so far & The Roadmap Ahead". The Panelists were Ms Anjali Nag, Senior Advocate, Dr. Poonam Arora, Ex Chairperson, A&N Social Welfare Advisory Board, Ms. Mau Chaudhuri, General Manager, Peerless Sarovar Portico, Port Blair and Dr. Priya Shanmugam, Pathologist, GB Pant Hospital, Port Blair. The programe was moderated by Rtn. Abhijit Agarwal, Past President Rotary Club of Port Blair.
The program was attended by Ms Raj Mahajan, Charter President, Inner Wheel Club of Port Blair, Ms Anita Puria President, IWC, Rtn Diwakar Moorthy, President, Rotary Club, Port Blair, Rtn. Nalin Gulecha, Secretary Rotary Club and other prominent Members of Rotary and the civil society.
