Port Blair, March 17: The commuters/general public are hereby informed that as per the special bulliten issued by India Meteorological Department, Port Blair low pressure area over central parts of South Bay of Bengal and it is likely to be intensified into a cyclonic storm by 21st March, 2022. Keeping in view the safety of the passengers and the vessel, the announced sailing programme may get disrupted leading to suspension or cancelation of the vessels in the Mainland Island/Foreshore/Inter Island Sector.
Similarly, in the adverse weather conditions, operation of Harbour/Vehicle ferry services between Chatham, Bambooflat, Phoenix Bay, Dundas Point & Panighat and vessels operating at out stations may also get disrupted/suspended in short notice depending upon the weather condition.
