Port Blair, March 25: The State Level Technical Committee Meeting (SLTC) review meeting for fixation of scale of finance of various seasonal crops, vegetables, floriculture and fruits and fixation of scale of finance to KCC- Fishermen including finance to KCC- Animal Hubandry for the year 2022-23 was held on 24th March 2022 at 11:00 AM in the conference hall of A & N State Cooperative Bank Ltd. Port Blair (H.O) under Chairmanship of Shri. Radhe Shyam Meena, DANICS, Director of Agriculture, Port Blair, A & N Administration.
At the outset Shri Omkar Nath, Sr. Manager (Dev.), A & N StCB Ltd., Port Blair, welcomed Shri. Radhe Shyam Meena, DANICS, Chairman, SLTC, Shri. H Manoj, General Manager, NABARD, Dr. V Baskaran, Principal Scientist, ICAR-CIARI, Dr. K Gopal, Joint Director, Fisheries, Shri. Abdul Rasheed, ARCS, Dr. Avinash Neeraj, Veterinary Dept., Shri. Ummer Farooq, Lead Distict Manager, SBI, Port Blair, Shri. Gandhi Paroi and Shri. Bimal Ch. Gain, Farmers representative from Ferrargunj and Nimbudera and Smti. Jolly James, Managing Director(i/c), Member Secretary, SLTC and bank officers of A & N StCB Ltd, and NABARD.
Shri. Omkar Nath, Manager (Dev.) highlighted the objective of calling this meeting for review the unit cost of previous scale of finance for the year 2021-22 for fixation of the unit cost of scale of finance for existing and new scale of finance for the year 2022-23 for implementation of KCC- Crop, KCC-Animal Husbandry and KCC- Fishermen.
Thereafter, the Chairman and other members of SLTC took up the meeting agenda wise and gave their valuable suggestions for more lending and better achievement in Agriculture Sector specially coverage of Kisan Credit Card (KCC) to all farmers of A & N Islands, after reviewed the scale of financed has been approved the scale of finance for the year 2022-23.
All the farmers and general public are hereby by informed that the scale of finance for 2022-23 will be available with the branches of A & N State Cooperative Bank Ltd., Agriculture Dept., AH & VS Dept, Fisheries Dept., and all Financing Institute of A&N Islands with effect from 01st April 2022.
