Port Blair, April 6: The new Residential Building of Pranab Kanya Sangha, Port Blair will be inaugurated by Shri Suneel Anchipaka, Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman on Friday, the 08th April 2022 at 4.00 PM.
This is a 3 (Three) storied RCC Building (G+2) on 10,000 Sq. Ft. area with modern accommodation and all ultra amenities. It has the following accommodation and facilities: At the ground floor – Accommodation/Living Room for total 60 children. At the one wing, accommodation for 24 children aged between 2 years and 12 years and on the other wing, accommodation for 36 children aged between 13 years to 24 years). At the first floor – Modern Kitchen, Dining Hall with complete buffet system for 60 children at a time, Hall for Indoor Games with Televisions (for the children aged 2 years to 12 years and 13 years to 24 years), 2 Playgrounds (one for children aged 2 years to 12 years and the other for children of 13 years to 24 years), Flower Garden, Kitchen Garden; and at the second floor – Prayer Hall and Space for organising Social Get-together / Cultural Programme etc. covering 8,200 Sq. Ft. area and having capacity of 500 persons. In addition to the above, the building has modern infrastructures like Power Back Up, CCTV, PA system, RO System Water Facilities etc.
