This is likely to be followed by heavy rain (7-11 cm) over one or two places in the Nicobar Islands and thunder storm & lightening with wind speed of 40-50 Kmph over Andaman & Nicobar.

The weather prediction indicates heavy to very heavy rain (7-20 cm) and thundersquall (speed reaching 50-60 Kmph) over one or two places in Andaman & Nicobar Islands on 6^th May 2022.

Fishermen have been advised not to venture in deep seas and are advised to return to the coast by the evening of 4^th May 2022.
