Port Blair, May 5: Heavy to very heavy rain (7-20 cm) very likely to occur at one or two places over Nicobar Islands and Heavy rains (7-11cm) likely at one or two places over Andaman Islands on 6^th and 7^th May 2022. This might be followed by thundersquall (speed reaching 50-70 Kmph) in one or two places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

Heavy rains (7-11cm) is likely to occur at one or two places over Andaman Islands followed by thunderstorm and lightning with gusty wind (speed reaching 40-50 Kmph) over one or two places.

Due to the presence of cyclonic situation over South Andaman Sea and neighbourhood and likely intensification of the system, squally wind speed exceeding 45 kmph likely to prevail over Andaman Sea along and off Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Fishermen are advised not to venture into the sea till 8^th May 2022.
