Port Blair, May 8: Humanity and brotherhood echoed the emotions of the fully packed hall of Wimberly Gunj Gram Panchayat on the occasion of Eidul fitr celebrations. The Eid Milan program was organised by Jamaate Islami Hind, Andaman on 6th May, 2022. The program started with the recitation of the verses of Holy Quran by Master Junaid. Shri. M K Mohammed, President, Jamaate Islami Hind, Andaman welcomed the gathering. Around 300 people from various faiths attended the program.
The message of Ramzan and Eidul fitr was presented by Shri. N Abdul Salam Nadvi. The community leaders present on the occasion praised the efforts of Jamaate Islami Hind to preserve peace and harmony among the people of Andaman.
Shri Narayan Guruji, Founder Sri Narayan Ashram, Shri Pandit Vinod Dubeyji, Radha Krishna Temple, Wimberly gunj and Shri Christopher, Pastor Tamil Methodist Church also addressed the gathering. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Shri. T Abdul Salam Falahi and a community feast.
