Prince Film Expresses its Gratitude to Lt. Governor, Chief Secretary and Others

Port Blair, May 23: As the shooting for the Netflix web series “Kaala Paani” comes to a successful completion in the picturesque Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Mr. Rayhaan Pasha on behalf of Prince Film and Mr. Keval Shah have expressed their sincere gratitude to the Hon’ble Lt. Governor, A&N Islands, Admiral D.K. Joshi (Retd.), the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration, Shri Jitendra Narain, IAS and the entire Andaman & Nicobar Administration for the support rendered.

The web series ‘Kaala Paani’ is the longest ever shoot that was done in the Islands till date, extending to more than 40 shoot days. During this period, more than 1000 volunteers from the Islands were provided an opportunity to be a part of the series on payment basis. “This is just a humble beginning by Prince Film and we aim for much more in the coming days”, said Rayhaan Pasha. Our aim is to promote Andaman & Nicobar Islands as the most popular film shooting destination of the world, thus promoting islands’ tourism industry and solving the burning issue of unemployment to a greater extent.  We also aim to promote the hidden talents of the islands by providing them an opportunity to act and present themselves to the world.

The production of the web series ‘Kaala Paani’ will take few more months to complete, which is expected to open up the world of cinema to the Islands. “We at Prince Film remain grateful to the A&N Administration, especially the A&N Police, the Deputy Commissioner (SA), Directorate of Shipping Services, Directorate of Tourism, Directorate of Education, Andaman Public Works Department, Forest Department, Port Management Board, Airport Authority of India, CISF among others without whose support the shoot would not have been possible”, added Rayhaan.
