Port Blair, June 3: A delegation of Andaman Association of Tour Operators led by its President Shri. M.Vinod is attending 3-day long Tourism Fair, travel exhibition at Kolkata from 3rd to 5th June 2022.
Tourism Fair, Travel Exhibition is attended by Stakeholders of Various States along with stakeholders from Bengal. AATO members are attending the exhibition as part of India Tourism delegation and also through individual stall of AATO
As per Shri. Vinod, Tourism Fair provides huge potential for tourism stakeholders from these Islands to showcase Andaman as an important destination.
Tourism is the largest industry in Andamans and provides employment to a large section of the island population. AATO has been participating in travel exhibitions and events and promoting Andamans as a world class destination for the last 17 years.
Vinod has thanked India Tourism, Ministry of Tourism Kolkata, Regional Office, for providing space to AATO in India Tourism Pavilion. This will prove to be a boost for Andaman tourism post COVID and the upcoming tourist season, he said.
