Port Blair, June 5: On the occasion of World Environment Day, the Civil Engineering Department of DBRAIT under Institute Innovative Council and ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ campaign organised a workshop on "Only One Earth", which is the theme of current World Environment Day. The students of 1st to 4th year participated in the worksho voluntarily.
On the occasion, the faculties of Civil Engineering with Environmental background along with students sensitized the student about various initiatives for "Living sustainability in harmony with Nature". The methods for reducing Ocean and Air pollution, Municipal solid waste management, preserving Ecosystem and Climate change were the topics of this informative interactive session.
