Port Blair, June 6: World Environment Day 2022 will be held under the theme “Only One Earth”, with the focus on “Living Sustainably in Harmony with Nature” highlighting the need to live sustainably in harmony with nature by bringing transformative changes – through policies and our choices – towards cleaner, greener lifestyles.
Alongwith all State & Local Centres of the Institution of Engineers (India) (IEI), the Andaman & Nicobar State Centre (ANSC) is also celebrating the Day. On the occasion the Centre is organising a Technical Lecture on "Only One Earth" on Tuesday, 07th June, 2022 at 4.00 pm at ALHW Conference Hall.
Dr. L. Anburajan, Scientist-D, National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT), & Mr. Rajee George, ACF, Department of Environment and Forest will be delivering the lecture.
All the Engineering Fraternity & interested persons of these islands are requested to attend the Technical Lecture.
