Port Blair, July 15: To honour the services of former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Shri. K Kamaraj, fondly called a Perunthalaivar (a tall leader), the Member of Parliament, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma today garlanded the statue of Shri. K Kamaraj at Dairy Farm Junction Port Blair on the occasion of his 120th birth anniversary.
The Member of Parliament in his message said that Shri. K Kamaraj was a great visionary and as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. He had introduced free and compulsory education up to the eleventh standard. He was also known for his simplicity and integrity.
