Port Blair, July 17: With an objective to promote chess in the Islands’ Andaman Nicobar Chess Association (ANCA) organised a one-day intensive Chess training programme for advanced and intermediate players today the 17th July 2022 at Hotel TSG Emerald, Phoenix Bay, Port Blair.
Renowned FIDE Master Siddhant Gaikward from Pune who is on a visit to Port Blair conducted the training session on ‘Candidate moves, Forcing Moves & Middle game principles’.
Around 40 young budding chess players of the islands attended the training session enthusiastically.
