Port Blair, July 18: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 6,84,675 doses of vaccine have been administered to beneficiaries in the age group of 18 and above so far. Similarly, 23,623 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 15 to 18 years.  24,926 beneficiaries in the age group of 12 to 14 years have been administered both doses of vaccine. The number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine so far stood at 34517.

A total of 2131 eligible beneficiaries were vaccinated in A&N Islands today. 1587 beneficiaries were vaccinated in South Andaman District, out of which, 4 beneficiaries were in the age group of 18-44 years and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 1554.

In North & Middle Andaman District, 413 beneficiaries were vaccinated, out of which 2 were in the age group of 18-44 years and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 406.

In Nicobar District, 131 beneficiaries were vaccinated out of which 28were in the age group of 12-14 years, 18 beneficiaries was in the age group of 15-18 years, 4 were in the age group of 18-44 and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 70.
