Port Blair, July 22: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 6,89,298 doses of vaccine have been administered to beneficiaries in the age group of 18 and above so far. Similarly, 23,876 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 15 to 18 years.  26,124 beneficiaries in the age group of 12 to 14 years have been administered both doses of vaccine. The number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine so far stood at 45,088.

A total of 2083 eligible beneficiaries were vaccinated in A&N Islands today. 599 beneficiaries were vaccinated in South Andaman District, out of which, 150 were in the age group of 12-14 years, 4 beneficiaries were in the age group of 15 to 18 years and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 342.

In North & Middle Andaman District, 724 beneficiaries were vaccinated, out of which 41 were in the age group of 12-14 years, 1 beneficiaries were in the age group of 18-44 years and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 678.

In Nicobar District, 760 beneficiaries were vaccinated out of which 20 were in the age group of 12-14 years, 5 beneficiaries were in the age group of 15 to 18 years and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 731.
