Port Blair, July 25: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 6, 91, 968 doses of vaccine have been administered to beneficiaries in the age group of 18 and above so far. Similarly, 23,894 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 15 to 18 years.  26,328 beneficiaries in the age group of 12 to 14 years have been administered both doses of vaccine. The number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine so far stood at 51,215.

A total of 3187 eligible beneficiaries were vaccinated in A&N Islands today. 2064 beneficiaries were vaccinated in South Andaman District, out of which, 18 beneficiaries in the age group of 12 to 14 years, 9 beneficiaries were in the age group of 18 to 44 years and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 2011.

In North & Middle Andaman District, 88 beneficiaries were vaccinated, out of which, 17 beneficiaries in the age group of 12 to 14 years, 1 beneficiary was in the age group of 15 to 18 years, 2 beneficiaries were in the age group of 18 to 44 years, and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 88.

In Nicobar District, 53 beneficiaries were vaccinated and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 53.
