Port Blair, July 25: The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has given a clarion call to strengthen the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' movement as the nation is marking ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ this year. He has urged people to hoist the Triclour or display it in their homes between 13th and 15th August 2022. The aim of the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' Campaign is not only to inspire people, but also an embodiment of our commitment to nation-building. The idea behind this initiative is to invoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of citizens and promote awareness about our National Flag.
Making sure that our pride the ‘Tiranga’ reaches every corner of the Islands, Port Blair Guru Ki Rasoi took responsibility to distribute the Tiranga to all the residents of Shaheed Dweep.
On the occasion Smti Pinky Das, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat Neil Kendra alongwith Up-Pradhan and PRI members distributed the flags to the residents of Shaheed Dweep.
