Port Blair, July 26: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 6,92,122 doses of vaccine have been administered to beneficiaries in the age group of 18 and above so far. Similarly, 23,901 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 15 to 18 years.  26,468 beneficiaries in the age group of 12 to 14 years have been administered both doses of vaccine. The number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine so far stood at 56,893.

A total of 5832 eligible beneficiaries were vaccinated in A&N Islands today. 3627 beneficiaries were vaccinated in South Andaman District, out of which, 54 beneficiaries in the age group of 12 to 14 years, 6 beneficiaries were in the age group of 18 to 44 years and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 3529.

In North & Middle Andaman District, 1761 beneficiaries were vaccinated, out of which, 17 beneficiaries in the age group of 12 to 14 years, 1 beneficiary was in the age group of 18 to 44 years, and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 1741.

In Nicobar District, 444 beneficiaries were vaccinated, out of which 10 beneficiaries were in the age group of 12 to 14 years, 7 beneficiaries were in the age group of 15 to18 years, and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 408.
