On the auspicious occasion of ‘Raksha Bandhan’, I extend my warm and best wishes to all the people of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

The festival of ‘Raksha Bandhan’ is a symbol of the unique bond of love and affection between brothers and sisters. This festival inspires ourselves towards commitment to secure the dignity of women for progress of society.

I would like to appeal to the Islanders to follow all COVID-19 guidelines and participate in COVID vaccination drive. Adolescents are also requested to get vaccinated at the earliest.

On this occasion, I wish that this festival brings happiness and prosperity in the life of all Islanders.
