Jolly Requests Time Extension to Submit Filled in Applications for Govt. Vacancies

Port Blair, Aug 23: Shri Vishal Jolly National Executive Member BJP & Former State President BJP-ANI wrote a letter to Chief Secretary, A&N Administration for Extension of time to submit the filled-in applications for participating in the recruitment process.

In his letter he pointed the following for positive consideration:

He mentioned that pandemic situation, recruitment process of various pending vacant civil posts were not undertaken and recently the same has been published by the Administration and a large number of eligible aspiring candidates who would file applications offering their respective candidatures.

That, in the vacancy notice published by the A & N Administration under the caption "PROCESS OF CERTIFICATION AND FORMAT OF CERTIFICATE", it is mentioned that "Certificates for the status of Creamy Layer issued between 03.09.2019 to 02.09.2022 only will be accepted.

It is a matter of fact & of record that there are thousands of aspiring candidates who have obtained the aforementioned status certificates prior to the period as indicated in the said vacancy notice and if the certificates issued prior to that period is not considered, then the same would overburden the candidates as well as the staffs of the administration.

Further he mentioned that, if it is absolutely necessary to contain the period of those certificates, then it would be very much required to extend the last date of acceptance of duly filled in applications, as it is impossible to process & obtain those status certificates within such short period of time and submit the same.

Moreover, the staffs and infrastructure presently available with the Administration would be required to be increased so as to extend the validity of the status certificates as well as to accept the filled in applications.

Considering the facts and circumstances as contemplated herein above, he suggested the following :-

  1. A) Either accept the Creamy Layer status certificates issued prior to 03.09.2019.

Or

  1. b) Extend the time frame by at for accepting the duly filled in applications together with the aforementioned certificates.

AND

Simultaneously increase the staffs and infrastructure for processing and accepting the applications.
