Port Blair, Aug 24: The Samastha Kendra Sunni Students Federation (SKSSF) - Port Blair City Unit in collaboration with District Administration, South Andaman and Directorate of Health Services conducted a Free COVID - 19 Booster Dose Vaccination Camp on 23rd and 24th August, 2022 from 4.00 PM to 7.30 PM at Ratri Nivas, Haddo and Delanipur.
The camp was conducted to cover the unvaccinated individuals with the precautionary third dosage of COVISHIELD. The Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman Shri Suneel Anchipaka, IAS along with the Additional District Magistrate and Sub-Divisional Magistrate visited the vaccination centre and appreciated the efforts taken by SKSSF in mobilization of the islanders. During the visit, Shri M.P. Abdul Rasheed, President along with Shri Mohammed Aslam, General Secretary briefed the various activities undertaken by the organization. The Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman specifically appreciated the noble work carried by the organization during COVID times and requested the organization to support the District Administration in its endeavor towards 100 percent booster dose coverage.
In the camps, altogether 280 doses of vaccines were administered.
