Port Blair, Aug 28: The Department of Sports & Youth Affairs in collaboration with Education Department is organising a week-long different sports activities from Aug. 22 to Aug. 29 in connection with the National Sports Day -2022 on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Major Dhyan Chand (Hockey Wizard) on 29th August 2022.
As a part of the programme, Table Tennis, Open Men & Women, Badminton U- 14 & 17 Girls & Boys, Running Open Men & Women, Cycle Race Open Men & Women & Swimming Open Men & Women and U-17 Boys & Girls were held from Aug. 22. The valedictory function will be held tomorrow Aug. 29 at 4 pm at TGCE Auditorium.
