Port Blair, Sept. 19: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 6,97,704 doses of vaccine have been administered to beneficiaries so far in A&N Islands. 6,21,479 doses of vaccine have been administered to beneficiaries in the age group of 18 and above. Similarly, 47,618 doses of vaccine have been administered to beneficiaries in the age group of 15 to 18 years. 28,627 doses of vaccine have been administered to beneficiaries in the age group of 12 to 14 years. The number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine so far stood at 2,87,428.    

A total of 272 eligible beneficiaries were vaccinated in A&N Islands today while the beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 212. In South Andaman District, 220 beneficiaries were vaccinated, out of which, 21 beneficiaries were above 18 years and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 199.

In North & Middle Andaman District, 16 beneficiaries were vaccinated, out of which 3 beneficiaries were in the age group of 18 and above and 13 beneficiaries were administered precautionary dose of vaccine.

In Nicobar, 36 beneficiaries in the age group of 12-14 years were vaccinated.
