Port Blair, Sept. 26: The Annual General Body Meeting of Andaman Association of Tour Operators was held on 25th Sept. 2022 at hotel N.K. International. The meeting was attended by more than 70 members of the association and presided over by the President of AATO, Shri.M.Vinod.
The programme started with a 2 min silence to mark respect towards the departed souls of the tourism fraternity.
Shri. K. Hamza, General Secretary of AATO welcomed the members. Two interactive sessions one each on GST and Digital Marketing was conducted by industry experts for the AATO members.
Shri. Saikat Biswas, Joint Secretary, AATO briefed the members about the activities, objectives and future programmes of the association.
In his Presidential address Shri. M. Vinod shared his vision for the association and sustainable development of tourism in A&N Islands. He urged the members to conduct business ethically and register themselves with Dept. of IP&T.
He informed the members that AATO will render all possible help to its members for registration and recognitions with national tourism bodies.
The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Vice President, Shri.Krishna Saha.
