Port Blair, Sept. 27: The Secretary (IT), A&N Administration, Shri Pankaj Kumar, IAS along with Special Secretary (IT) reviewed the implementation of e-Office in Departments under A&N Administration with the Amalgamated Information Technology Cadre (AITC) staff today.
Addressing the gathering, the Secretary (IT) lauded the efforts put in by the Department of IT and entire AITC staff in successful implementation of e-Office in all the Departments under A&N Administration in a time bound manner. He impressed upon the AIT Cadre staff to provide continued support and handholding to the Departments for sustenance of e-Office implementation.
During the discussion, experiences and challenges faced in the implementation of e-Office Application was discussed and inputs of all the key implementing members were taken for fine tuning and changing the strategy to extend coverage of e-Office in all the field and branch offices situated in other Islands. The Secretary (IT) also handed over a letter of appreciation to the key members who were actively involved in implementation process of e-Office particularly at Secretariat Level.
