Port Blair, Oct. 9: On 8th October a CME (Common Medical Education) was organised by Apollo Clinic Garacharma in collaboration with Apollo Hospitals, Chennai. The CME was organised at Lemon Tree Hotel, where four super specialist doctors gave talks on different topics.
Dr. M. Balamurugan, Senior Consultant Neurosurgeon, MBBS, DNB (Neurosurgery), FNS (Japan), FNS (Aust) FAANSI (USA) gave a talk on brain & spine surgery demystified, while Dr. Vijay Kishor Kondreddy, Senior Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon, MBBS, DNB (Ortho), M. ch (Ortho), FIA (Germany), FIAS (Aust.) spoke on robotics assisted hip & knee replacement.
Dr. Nivas Venkatachalapathi, Senior Consultant Gastroenterology, MBBS MS (General Surgery), MRCS (England), DND (Surgical Gastroenterology) gave a talk on healthy liver healthy life and the last talk was given by Dr. Sumit Sharma, Senior Consultant IR, MD, Fellowship in Interventional Oncoradiology (TMC, Kolkata) on the topic interventional radiology.
Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament graced the occasion as the chief guest. Doctors from Government and Private Hospitals, dignitaries from various Private and Government sectors had graced the occasion.
