Port Blair, Oct. 13: Andaman & Nicobar Islands Institute of Medical Sciences (ANIIMS), Port Blair has been approved 114 MBBS seats by Ministry of Health & Family welfare (MoHFW), Govt. of India and Andaman & Nicobar Administration for the academic year 2022-23. NEET-2022 qualified students will be admitted through All India quota counselling and state quota counselling.  Out of total approved 114 seats, 17 seats of All India quota will be filled by online counselling by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), and rest of the 97 seats will be admitted under state quota (10 EWS plus 87 Category seat).

The Applications have been invited from NEET eligible candidates for admission to ANIIMS. The applicants can apply through Common Admission Online Portal (www.collegeadmission.andaman.gov.in). Only NEET-2022 qualified students from Andaman and Nicobar Islands can apply for above mentioned 97 seats of state quota. Remaining 17 seats of All India quota will be filled through online counselling by Medical Counseling Committee (MCC).

The tentative timeline for the Admission process is as follows:

Submission of duly filled application form starts on 14^th October 2022 from 10.00 am

Last date of submission of application form 20^th October 2022 till 5.00pm

Publication of Provisional merit list - 21^st October,2022 at 5.00pm

Appeal & Grievance - 22^nd October ,2022 till 5.00pm

 Display of Final Merit list - 25^th October 2022 at 5.00pm

01^st Round of Counseling & verification of documents - 27^th and 28^th October 2022 from 9.00am onwards

02^nd Round of Counseling & verification of documents - 14^th November,2022 from 9.00am onwards

Mop up Counseling - 08^th December 2022

Commencement of Academic session for the MBBS year 2022-23 - 15^th November 2022
