Port Blair, Oct. 17: The category-wise final merit list of candidates who have applied for admission to various Undergraduate Courses in JNRM, Port Blair for the Academic Session 2022-23 has been uploaded duly attending all the claims and objections in the Common College Admission Portal (CCAP) website (https://collegeadmission.andaman.gov.in).
The counseling for admission to these courses shall be held in JNRM, Port Blair as per the following schedule. No separate information will be given for counseling. Candidates selected for admission during counseling session shall be given admission on the same day. Candidates have been advised to attend counseling to commence from 26th Oct. 2022.
The candidates who have applied online for admission to above said courses have been asked to be present by 8.30 AM on their respective day of counselling in the places designated at JNRM. They should bring documents in original for verification and one set of photostat copies (to be submitted during admission) viz. XII Marks Statement and Pass Certificate (Original will be detained in JNRM); School Leaving Certificate (Transfer Certificate) (Original will be detained in JNRM); X Pass certificate for verification of date of birth; Category Certificate (ST, OBC, PH, ward of central Govt. Servants/Ex-Servicemen & EWS); Aadhaar/Aadhaar Enrolment Slip and one Passport size photo of candidate.
Certificates downloaded through Digilocker are valid during counseling session for taking provisional admission by JNRM. However, original marksheet of 12th is required to be submitted to JNRM in due course of time for verification and grant of final admission by the Pondicherry University.
As per the Pondicherry University norms, Physical Fitness Test will be conducted for admission to BPES and the candidate must come in proper sports dress on the day of counseling for their Fitness Test for the events viz. 100 Meter Sprint, Shot Put, Standing Board Jump, Vertical Jump & 12 Minutes Run/Walk Test.
Those who fail to attend the counseling session on specified date and time will not be considered for admission to the respective course and the next eligible candidate from the merit list will be considered for admission.
