Port Blair, Oct. 17: An awareness programme on Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY) and Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (RKVY) was organised by the Department of Fisheries at Mithakhari Gram Panchayat today. The programme was attended by Shri Mohd. Safiq, Pradhan, GP Mithakhari, Shri Farooque, Asst. Fisheries Officer, Smti Prema Khujur, Up-Sarpanch, Smti Salina Abha Minj, PRI Member, Smti Khadeeja, PRI Member apart from the fishers of the area.

Shri Mohd Safiq has extend his gratitude to the Department of Fisheries for having conducted the awareness programme for the benefit of the fishers.
