Port Blair, Oct. 19: Shrihaan Karmakar, a student of third standard Kendriya Vidyalaya-2 performed brilliantly in the DAV International Open Fide Rated Rapid and Blitz Chess Tournament held at Pallikarai Chennai from 15^th and 16^th October 2022. He secured 9^th rank in the under 8 category and was awarded with trophy and certificate.

The officials of Andaman Nicobar Chess Association have congratulated him for excellent performance. On his way back home, the cabin crew of the airlines also felicitated him on board.
