On the occasion of Children's Day, the 14th November, I extend my warm and affectionate wishes to the children of A&N Islands.
Children are like buds in a garden who should be nurtured with love and care as they are the future of the Nation. Children's Day symbolizes the innocence, love and purity that children bring to this world. They possess immense potential to contribute to the society and humanity. All teachers, parents and the society have the exalted duty to facilitate them towards their all-round development in tune with their interest and aptitude so that their talents and energies can be channelized towards building of a New India.
The children of our Islands have made us proud by their outstanding performance in the AISSCE & AISSE examinations, various competitions at National level and bringing laurels to the Islands. The overall pass percentage in Class XII examination 2022 is 96.74% which is 4% more than the National average. I take this opportunity to congratulate the achievers of AISSCE & AISSE 2022 who have exhibited exemplary determination, hard work and perseverance.
A&N Administration is firmly committed to untiring endeavors for ensuring complete nutrition, safety and excellent education of all children so that they can become enlightened, self-reliant and responsible citizens of our great Nation.
On this occasion, I entreat all children of the Islands to make best use of their childhood and realize their dreams to take our Nation forward on the path of peace and prosperity.
