Port Blair, Nov. 13: Shri Vishal Jolly National Executive Member BJP & Former State President BJP-ANI, who was on a 03 day’s tour to Nicobar District from 11th to 13th November 2022, held a meeting with Tribal Council, Headman of all the 15 villages, ladies representative of the villages and other tribal leaders of Car Nicobar in the Tribal Council Office, Car Nicobar on 12th November 2022.

During the interaction Jolly briefed about the welfare schemes provided by Modi Govt. to tribal communities including various infrastructure and economic development initiatives undertaken by the Union Government for welfare and wellbeing of the tribal communities. Also, the BJP State Unit has taken up their present concerns as well as their future needs within the framework of Government of India’s Policy; he informed.

The tribal council and other dignitaries discussed various burning issues related to tribal communities of Nicobar Islands and future development of the Islands with Vishal Jolly and asked for immediate redressal. All the issues were taken seriously by Mr. Jolly and assured them to take up the matter with appropriate authority on priority.
