Port Blair, Nov. 20: Andaman Nicobar Chess Association (ANCA) conducted Selection Trials today at ANCA office-cum-chess centre Dairy Farm to select two best chess players each in boys and girls for the 35^th National Under-13 Chess Championship 2022.

Around 40 young chess players took part in the selection trials passionately in which the following chess players of Andaman & Nicobar Islands have been selected as per their Final Standings of the Selection Trials.

Boys:                    

01) D Shrestha Vijay – First - Carmel Sr. Sec. School Port Blair

02) V Yashwant – Second - GMSSS Port Blair

Girls:                     

01) Kavya Raj – First - VKV Lambaline

02) Tanisha Raj – Second - VKV Lambaline

These players are eligible to represent A&N Islands in the upcoming 35^th National Boys & Girls Chess Championship-2022 scheduled be held from 10^th to 18^th December 2022 in Puducherry.
