Final Round of Counseling for admission to UG Courses in JNRM

Port Blair, Nov. 30: Few seats are lying vacant in respect of various UG courses viz. B.Sc. Geography, B.Sc. Mathematics, B.A English, B.Sc. Physics, BPES, B.A Bengali, B.Sc. Home Science, B.A Tamil & B.A Hindi for the academic session 2022-23; hence candidates who have applied for admission may attend the counseling on 3rd December, 2022 at 8.30 am in the Inter-disciplinary Departments of JNRM.

The candidate should bring the documents in original for verification and one set of Photostat copies (to be submitted during admission) viz. XII Marks Statement (Original will be detained in JNRM); School Leaving Certificate (Transfer Certificate) (Original will be detained in JNRM); X Pass certificate for verification of date of birth; Category Certificate (ST, OBC, PH, ward of central Govt. Servants/Ex-Servicemen & EWS); Aadhaar/Aadhaar Enrolment Slip and 1 passport size photograph.

Certificates downloaded through Digilocker is valid during counseling session for taking provisional admission by JNRM. However, Original Marksheet of 12th is required to be submitted to JNRM in due course of time for verification and grant of final admission by the Pondicherry University.

As per the Pondicherry University norms, physics fitness test will be conducted for admission to BPES and the candidate must come in proper sports dress on the day of counselling for their fitness test for the following events viz.100 meter sprint, shot put, standing board jump, vertical jump and 12 minutes run/walk test.

Those who fail to attend the counseling session on specified date and time will not be considered for admission to the respective course and the next eligible candidate from the merit list will be considered for admission. If no candidate is present from specific category, the left out seats will be filled from the general merit list on merit basis (except EWS category).

Candidates have to submit the fee receipt in the concerned Department latest by the next working day, in the absence of which their admission will be cancelled. There will be no admission after this counseling.
