Port Blair, Dec. 4: On 2nd December 2022 the ANTCC President Shri. Rangalal Halder and the Chairman- Campaign Committee ANTCC, Shri. TSG Bhasker and the Chairman of the Adivasi Congress, Shri. Sebastian Tirkey met the Ranchi community people in Havelock (Swaraj Dweep) Island and interacted with them regarding the difficulties being faced by them in Havelock. The Ranchi community emphasizes that though they are Tribals in their own native place, they don’t have any status in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
The ANTCC President Shri. Rangalal Halder promised the Ranchi community people that he will take up the issues to the appropriate authority and will do the needful. Shri. Sebastian Tirkey, Chairman of the Tribal Congress of Andaman Nicobar Islands addressed the gatherings and listened to the issues being faced by the Tribals.
The interaction session ended with the vote of thanks by a Tribal Community Member.
