Port Blair, Dec. 4: Andaman Nicobar Chess Association (ANCA) conducted A&N State Under 09 Chess Selection Championship today at ANCA Chess Centre Dairy Farm to select two best chess players each in boys and girls for the 35^th National Under-09 Chess Championship 2022 scheduled from 25^th December 2022 to 02^nd January 2023 at Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

A good number of young chess players including a player from Diglipur took part in the selection event passionately in which the following chess players of Andaman & Nicobar Islands have been selected as per their Final Standings of the Selection Championship.

The details of the selected players are as below:

Boys                     

01: Rohan Singh – First - Carmel Sr. Sec. School, Port Blair

02: Shrihaan Karmakar – Second - KV2

Girls                      

01: Parnita - First - Carmel Sr. Sec. School Port Blair

02: D Charvi – Second - VKV Lambaline

These players are eligible to represent A&N Islands in the upcoming 35^th National Boys & Girls Chess Championship-2022 scheduled be held from 25^th December 2022 to 02^nd January, 2023 at Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
