Port Blair, Dec. 8: The Non-Gazetted Govt. Officers’ Association, Andaman and Nicobar Islands express deep condolence on the demise of Comrade K.K.N. Kutty, former Secretary General of Confederation of Central Government Employees & Workers today (08.12.2022) morning at 9.30a.m. after prolonged illness.

Comrade KKN Kutty was a great Trade Union Leader, orator and a highly knowledgeable person. He led the Central Govt. Employees and Workers movement for decades and spear headed several agitational programmes against the anti-employees and anti-working class policies of the government at the centre. The unexpected demise of Com Kutty is a great loss for CG Employees and Workers movement and the entire working class in the country.

Com. KKN Kutty was always concerned towards the issues of employees working in A&N Islands. He was a guide and mentor to all of us who were in the leadership of NGOs' Association. He had visited these Islands to attend the Annual Conference of the Association and mesmerized the govt. employees and workers with his oratory skill and in depth knowledge on various issues. The untimely departure of Com. Kutty at this juncture is a big setback for pensioners’ movement as he was the tallest leader of NCCPA. The Non-Gazetted Govt. Officers’ Association pays rich tributes in his memory.
