Pondicherry, Dec. 11: Around 500 players across India are participating in the prestigious MPL 35th National Under 13 Chess Championships–2022 event in which 5 young chess players, three Boys and two Girls from Andaman & Nicobar Islands viz. V Yashwant of GMSSS Port Blair, Yuvan Singh of Carmel Sr. Sec. School Port Blair, M A Dinakar of Kamaraj EM School, Tanisha Raj & Kavya Raj of VKV Lambaline Port Blair are taking part in the prestigious event.
The event will be held for 8 days over 11 rounds under Swiss System in Classical time control from 11th December 2022 to 18th December 2022. The total Prize money for the championship is rupees Eight Lakhs which will be awarded among top twenty players in Boys & Girls Category.
