Trissoor, Dec. 13: The 35th All India Conference of the All India Kisan Sabha began at Thrissoor, Kerala today (13.12.2022) with hoisting of the AIKS flag by its President Shri Ashok Dhawle at the venue of the 35th Conference. The Conference will conclude on 16th December, 2022.
AIKS played an important role in the joint movement of farmers against the four anti-farmer agriculture laws in the country during 2020 – 2021. With a membership of one crore thirty-seven lakhs kisans, All India Kisan Sabha is the largest kisan organization in the country.
A delegation from Andaman & Nicobar Islands comprising Dr Gouranga Majhi, President, Shri SR Mridha, Secretary, Shri Ramjiban Sarkar, Vice President and Smt Sarani Topno, Joint Secretary of Andaman & Nicobar State Committee of AIKS are attending the Conference.
