Port Blair, Dec. 17: Contribution of PC/972 T. Divya Murthy of A&N Police was recognized for his significant role in implementation of Crime and Criminal Tracking Network & Systems (CCTNS) & Interoperable Criminal Justice System (ICJS) and he has been awarded in the individual officers’ category in category 'C' of States/UTs having less than 50 Police Stations by the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB).

PC/972 Divya Murthy was appointed on 03/02/2004 as Police Constable and he was trained in MS SQL, MySQL & troubleshooting of applications/web applications by Department of Information Technology, A&N Administration. He was posted in CCTNS Cell in the year 2010 and has served for nearly 10 years in the project. During his tenure at CCTNS Cell, he has taken lot of initiatives and was instrumental in sorting out glitches in Core Application Software of CCTNS.

With the continuous dedicated efforts of CCTNS team, the UT of Andaman & Nicobar has secured overall 96.03% among the UTs as per the latest release of Pragati Report. All the senior Officers of Andaman and Nicobar Police have congratulated & praised PC/972 T. Divya Murthy for being conferred with the award.
