Port Blair, Dec. 18: The terrace on the top floor building of Utkal Samaj at Shadipur Ward No. 10, Port Blair constructed under MPLAD fund of 16th Lok Sabha was inaugurated by Shri Bishnu Pada Ray, Ex-Member of Parliament in the presence of Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, today. The work was carried out by the Andaman Public Work department being the executing agency of MPLAD work for which the long pending demand of the Utkal Samaj has been fulfilled.
During the inauguration function, Smti. T Mangayarkarasi Councillor Ward No.10, Smti. Vasantha, Councillor Ward No.12, Smti. Sheela Singh, Ex-Chairperson, PBMC, Shri SP Burman, Ex-Director of Health Services, Smti. Ratna Kannan, Ex-Chairperson of Social Welfare Advisory Board, Smti. Puspanjali Raju, Chairperson, CCS Ltd., Shri Kishore Naran, AE SAD, APWD, Members of the Utkal Samaj, other prominent members of the residents of the area and a large number of general public were also present.
